Stylus Rex
With a background playing live drums for bands coupled with studio sessions with producers like Youth (Killing Joke), JDS, Adam F, & Dan Carey (Kylie)... Stylus Rex is hooked on beat construction & production.
He emerged on the Breaks scene in 2005 with a self-released EP 'Boomstick/Halo Ember', followed by 'Blatant' released on Punk Funk in 2006, 'Squelch Freak' on BijouBeats March 2007 & now Serious Wobble on Ground Level.
Stylus Rex's music has enjoyed wide support in Breaks with plays from Meat Katie, Stanton Warriors, Rennie Pilgrem, Jay Cunning, Ali B, JDS, Kid Kenobi, Friendly & many others.
As a DJ he's built a reputation as surefire club rocker playing dates all over the UK from Ali B's Air nights to Pete Jordan's Spectrum & a regular slot at JDS's Purple Monkey night with upcoming dates at Ministry of Sound plus a string of dates in the USA later this year.
